Deborah Schildt
Deborah Schildt specializes in field producing and casting across Alaska; equally at ease in urban centers and extreme, isolated environments. Creativity, curiosity and a passion to explore have helped shape her thirty-five years in the film industry. Her skills and expertise have taken her around the world, across the U.S. and Alaska. Her credits include 33 feature films, over 200 commercials, documentaries and still photo shoots.
She is a founding member of the Alaska Film Group and Alaska’s only member of the Casting Society of America. Deborah provided Alaska casting on feature films, Big Miracle, The Frozen Ground, Wildlike and Frontier Azul as well as numerous local, national and international projects. In 2015 she co-founded Alaska Media Pros, a production service company based in Anchorage where she currently works as a producer/production manager.
